KPMG’s 32nd Annual Accounting & Financial Reporting Symposium filling up fast

KPMG will host its 32nd Annual Accounting & Financial Reporting Symposium, which will be in person December 1–2 in Las Vegas. The symposium provides a fresh perspective from top-rated keynote speakers and industry leaders on critical issues.

“Our symposium is a marquee thought-leadership event where financial officers can gain valuable insights on the accounting and financial reporting developments of the past year, along with innovative ideas and actionable tips to navigate today’s rapidly evolving business environment,” said National Managing Partner – Audit Operations Tim Walsh.

“We’re excited to be back in person this year,” said Audit Chief Client Care Officer Stacy Nahas. “I’m looking forward to meeting face-to-face with my colleagues and other executives to gain valuable insights into the issues that matter while doing exactly what the symposium’s title urges us to do: Reconnect, Recharge and Reimagine!”

There are two keynote speakers for this year’s event:

  • David Kennedy, a cybersecurity expert. He will offer insights into the demographics of hackers, how they are hacking and the best defenses from both personal and enterprise perspectives.
  • Neil Pasricha, a speaker and author on happiness, leadership and resilience through intentional living, will share techniques for putting happiness first, building resilience and experiencing breakthrough performance in times of change.

Breakout sessions will focus on issues impacting financial executives, including regulatory developments, technical accounting and tax updates, and panels on emerging areas such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) and digital assets.
