Miriam Hernandez-Kakol discusses how KPMG is reinforcing its commitment to offer internships to high school students – providing youth from under-represented populations equitable access to valuable experiences.
“Giving back is part of our DNA and core to our culture at KPMG," says Rob Arning. "Not only through the work we do to deliver solutions for clients, but in our mission to use our skills, time and treasures to make a tangible difference in society.”
"While our 1,700 JA volunteers most often attribute their involvement to a desire to give back," Laura Newinski says, "they also frequently highlight the ways volunteering has aided their own professional development."
"There is a direct correlation between volunteering and employee engagement at our firm," says Rob Arning. "The more our people volunteer, the higher their level of engagement and sense of pride about working for KPMG."
