KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, is proud to announce that for the third year in a row, it has earned a spot on PEOPLE magazine’s “Companies That Care” list. The list recognizes organizations that have demonstrated outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees, their communities, and the environment.
The firm recently celebrated a milestone 125th Anniversary that saw partners and employees come together to volunteer with 450 non-profit organizations during a firm-wide Community Impact Day. In addition to community volunteer activities and special events in key markets across the country, the firm pledged more than $125 million over the next five years to support initiatives that advance equity and access among underrepresented groups. Additionally, KPMG’s people pledged $20.2 million, making 2022 a record year for partner and employee giving.
“As we celebrate our 125-year firm legacy and look towards our bright future, it’s an honor to be named among the Companies That Care by PEOPLE magazine,” said Paul Knopp, KPMG U.S. Chair and CEO. “This year has been a testament of the impact our firm and people make in our communities. KPMG will continue to lead on critical ESG issues, invest in our people to ensure they have the resources they need to thrive and support our communities to foster greater resilience.”
This year, KPMG has also made further investments to support the mental, physical, social and financial well-being of its employees, including investing $160M in across-the-board salary adjustments for all professionals alongside an enhanced Total Rewards package, which reduced healthcare costs, introduced an automatic firm contribution to retirement accounts and enhanced paid parental leave.
