Beth Stephens works as an executive assistant in our Audit practice and serves the greater good as an environmental champion. Passionate about sustainability and ocean conservation, Stephens co-chairs KPMG’s Living Green network in San Francisco. She recently spearheaded a beach cleanup in the city's Aquatic Park and inspired a number of her KPMG colleagues to take part in the effort. The team collected 1,086 cigarette butts and 1,621 items of plastic and other trash. Stephens also dedicates her time volunteering for other environmental-friendly organizations such as The Marine Mammal Center and Shark Stewards. As we nationally recognize Earth Day and Administrative Professionals Day, we are sharing Stephens’ story in honor of these two important roles she plays at KPMG.
Through heartwarming and personal testimonials, Voices is a series that tells stories of how KPMG people are making a difference in their communities. For more information, please contact Mike Alva on KPMG's Corporate Communications team.
