Lynne Doughtie, KPMG U.S. Chairman and CEO, and Laurie Hernandez, U.S. Olympic Gold medalist and KPMG Literacy Champion, recently met with Irina Bokova, Director-General, UNESCO, to discuss our shared commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goal #4: ensuring inclusive and quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning.
Following the meeting, Doughtie and Hernandez took the stage at WE Day UN, a youth empowerment event gathering thousands from across the Tri-state area at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, to inspire future leaders through reading.
